CLIS uses the Christian Light Education curriculum from K-8. This is used as a core curriculum blended

with History and Geography studies from Uganda, Africa and around the world. We believe that this curriculum is academically sound and gives students that needed spiritual foundation and academic


Grades 9-12

Students graduate with a high school diploma when they successfully meet all the graduation requirements at Grade 12. They embark on this journey in Grade 9 as all their assessments count towards their final Grade Point Average (GPA) in Grade 12. Students are required to study Mathematics, English, Literature, Science, and Social Science. In addition to the main courses, students study courses in Physical Education, Bible, Foreign Language and Electives. We offer a wide variety of electives, including, Business Studies, Mechanics, Art, Engineering, IT, Home Economics, Accounting, and Creative Writing, among others.
