Application

Thank you for considering CLIS as the schooling option for your child. Please complete the application form to begin the school admission process. Once you have submitted the application form our registrar will be in contact with you. If you need to contact our registrar for any additional information about the school please email admin@clis.ac.ug. Thank you.

Application Process

To apply parents must complete:

1. An Application Form with attached report cards, passport or birth certificate, student photo

The Admissions Committee meets regularly to review applications and their decision is based on five priorities in this order of importance:

1. In order to support families, we prioritize siblings.

2. Because we believe parents are important to learning, we prioritize families that are likely to support learning from home and participate in the life of the school

3. As an international school, we aim to keep a diverse mix of backgrounds in each classroom.

4. As we aspire to academic excellence, we prioritize students who are likely to benefit from and contribute to an academically rich and rigorous environment. Student report cards from previous schools should demonstrate good student efforts in their studies. 

Potential students will be tested and interviewed by CLIS staff.

Classroom instruction is based on a Biblical worldview and all students are expected to participate in religious instruction and activities.

Applications are evaluated on the basis of the credentials of the candidate and not on the time of application. 

Admission cannot be granted until all the following have been submitted:

a) Complete registration form.

b) Copy of birth certificate & immunization records.

c) One year’s academic records from previous school.

d) 2 passport size photos of student, 1 for each parent & 1 for next of kin.

e) Registration fee.

f) Personal student/family interview with the school administration.

g) Photocopy of National ID OR passport for each parent and next of kin.

h) Forms consented to by parents.
