Christian Light International School (CLIS) was founded by a group of mothers who, after six years of homeschooling, decided to expand their efforts to provide other children with a Christian international education. The school opened its doors to the public in 2021 with 23 children and has since grown into a large family-oriented institution that fosters Christian values, academic excellence, independence, and servant leadership.
CLIS is registered under the name Christian Light International School, with a Board of Directors serving as the legal custodians responsible for fulfilling its mission and vision. The school does not discriminate on the basis of gender, age, race, color, national or ethnic origin, disability, or faith tradition in its admissions, educational policies, or other school-administered programs.
